Is This The Right Time?

Helooooooouuuuuouououououo..
Yeah, I have to do that. I've been normal for quite some months now. I mean, no random drive off or impulsive (expensive) shopping. I have to say, I'm impressed.
Maybe it's because I'm growing up *slaps self* *cough*. Most likely it's because my life is kinda boring at the moment. My colleagues are normal. They're biggest thrill was cave tubbing. Thank you very much. I expected something like pushing some professors off the cliff or something *wild, mate. wild*.
I should be writing my pre theses at the moment. Yet here I am, writing this blog entry, listening to Justin Timberlake, and waiting for Neil Patrick Harris' video buffering. Yep, I'm shallow. And please add up the ability to multi task, por favor. Say that again? Pre theses? Yes. I forgot that I have the obligation to write a theses and graduate. I did this for you, the people in INDONESIA. Those who paid their taxes on time and contribute to the country's budgeting! Thank you! The problem is, dear tax payer, I don't have any brain :|. It's kinda hard to write down  scientific materials and pretend that I understand a single thing I wrote. You can count on me drooling all over my keyboard when I wrote my pre theses.
My baby's healthy and well. I'm still a living commute zombie. My husband's still in love with this weirdo *I hope*.
Life's grand. Except you! Yeah, you! Scientific writing materials! I hope one day you could be more fun! *tossing reading materials away*

Maroon 5's on! Time to do head bumping on my desk!

A view from the other side

Here I am. Sitting in a lounge. Bailing out a meeting. Not cool, I know, but this head won't sit still in that meeting.
Anyway, I've been to 3 weddings, Yu's, Munyun's, and Eiy's. I wish them a happy journey till death do they apart with their own spouses. So thrilled to see how my friends evolved and grew.
I once thought being busy would keep my mind occupied for some time, but lately I still can't resist the boredom of being anywhere, any place. Maybe because it's almost the end of the year, and job's overwhelming. I don't know. I read the in-flight travel magazines, and nothing seems to attract me.
This is completely weird. Personally, I don't like this feeling. I don't know what I want.
I tried to surf and find myself new gadgets, but either I don't like the gadget or it's too expensive I couldn't afford it. *well, it's more to the latter reason. ahem*
I'm just tired, I guess. I missed sitting here, like I am now. Occupying one corner seat, sipping my afternoon coffee, and just forget for a moment that in the other room, the meeting I suppose to attend is happening. I'm tired pretending like I care if my job's a crap. I just wanted to sit for a while, take my time, do something i really like. Which is, for the moment, I have no idea what is it.
Here's something I know at this very moment. I am a happier person without those mask of acts. Who cares? I do. For my sanity, at least.

This Ain't The Fairy Tale

Every girl, I repeat, every single girl in this world, has her fairy tale living inside herself. Yes, you girls born with vaginas and later grow boobs, should admit it. How fearless you might seem, how independent you might be, how artificial your body are, deep there, there’s this Cinderella, Pocahontas, Barbie, Snow White selves. Don’t buy it? Did you recall the last time you went home, driving by yourself, and suddenly the sound system just blast Maroon 5’s *errr, I forgot the song… the one with, ‘I don’t mind standing everyday, right on your corner…’ lyric?* that song, and suddenly you felt like when you came home, it’ll be raining and there would be Adam Levine standing on your doorway? No? Never? Well, it’s just me then.

But come on drama queens. No matter how much you hated those sinetrons on tv, you are still looking for that spotlight, and pretend that you’re the lead character in your story of life. Sometimes you took part as the scriptwriter as well. You wanted things to go as you picture it, as you planned it. Still don’t believe me? Well just go throw yourself to one shopping mall with an unlimited credit card, and just report to me on what have you splurge.

(That's me... being the Oh-So-Beautiful-Princess-With-Giraffe-Headed-Tiara)

The thing is, my fellow fairy tale princess friends… *tidying up my tiara* There’s this other creature who was born with penis attached and later grow a filter for those loveydovey things, named man. Male, for exact. Now, they don’t think like those princes in fairy tales. Have you been watching prince William? Well, scratch off the fact that he’s hat-genic, still he’s no prince in fairy tale. He still waited for 9 years to propose and went to the office after his wedding. Now, I don’t think that’s what Kate Middleton had in mind. But then, she compromised. She tore the papers of her fairy tale and wrote her story all over again. So much for marrying a prince. ☺

Anyway, having this male creature living on the same earth, meaning we, as fairy tale princesses (Tidying up my tiara… again), have to compromise. So don’t expect for some guy waiting for you under the rain when you came home, because you’ll be defeated by football, soccer, automobiles, motorbikes, boxing (!). No, the guy would like completely ignore your existence in this world when it happens. And (say) if there’s GP racing, their favorite club on match, and gadgets on the show, you should just fade away gracefully, because not only that you did not exist in their minds, your fairy tale story is also falling apart. Trust me, from all the case studies I stalk observe, they wouldn’t even care if you walk around naked are lost inside this jungle and tried to call him.

So, nope, this ain’t the fairy tale. Unless you’re a lesbian. Errr… that would make it more complicated for your life, so I would suggest to stay on your track. ☺

GARerun

I love watching Grey's Anatomy. Well, lately, it's because Jackson Avery is there. He doesn't say any line, he's just... there... *slap me...*
Anyway, few days ago a friend of mine said to me: Do you remember the first season of GA? When Christina Yang said to Meredith Grey that she's her person, well... you're my person... If something happened to me, remember, you're my person.
Err... first of all, I wanted to be Christina Yang *gak penting deh ah*. Second thing, if I'm Meredith, then if someday I am planning to build a house, I have to fit in a room, just for her... her room in my house *gak penting deh ah #2*.
Seriously, Grey's Anatomy aren't real, people! come on... in real life, you wouldn't hear those lines they said on screen. Well, if you still attempt to do that, you might slip, or end up babbling... Won't be that perfect. Trust me, I've tried :p. But well, my friend is right in a way, everybody needs to be somebody else' 'person' and needs somebody else to be their 'person'. I might just completely had the break down, if I don't have my person. The one I think could keep all my mellow yellow things and cover it up and present me as the psycho girl to the world *wait a sec, I don't quite know, how a psycho girl is better than mellow yellow me... but well...*
And well, in my daily life, I won't get to see the Jackson Avery personification. At least until this very moment, I still couldn't spot that person. And don't forget how Alex Karev has become. Hmm, that guy... *ih, pengen cubit! halah*.
My life is not the operating room. I came to the office and stare blankly to my monitor, or went to a meeting I don't even know what language were they speaking, or bluff as if I got the answer to questions of my work. I don't save lives. I might save some asses, but no, I don't save lives :p. Frankly I've lost my passion of this work. Well, it's not that I lost it, I just never seem to find the strive to get really involved with my current job. But well, it pays quite well, and it could buy me toys that could made me happy for a while. Who said money can't buy happiness? It could. Money just can't buy joy. You need to recharge the happiness. :)
My boss isn't exactly Miranda Bailey. OK, let's not talk about my boss, the whole office would be dragged down. I just wish I won't become that major conspiracy of this office. Driving me insane.

Ah well anyway, I might not be the one you would look up to in the office. I'm not good at my job. But well, at least I've found persons who I could drag to my own world. And I thank everyone of you. :)

it takes two to cuddle :p

I'm in love all over again, with How I met Your Mother series... :p
I like the part (early seasons) when Barney introduced himself as Ted. 'Hi, Ted Mosby. Architect', with confidence. Just to prove that Architects are sexy. Don't ask me about the truth of Architect's sexy-ness *halah* :p.
OK, that... the text you just read above has nothing to do with my post though >:). I just took the title from How I Met Your Mother :D.
I just need to convince myself about that words, though... That cuddling always takes two. *just don't try to imagine cuddling by yourself. just don't*. Me, the girl who can't be moved. Especially by the love of human beings. I have my fullest empathy to electronic gadgets and pets :p.
I don't know. Things like feeling and behaving are not my specialties. I'm harsh. I'm unreachable. I'm a loner. And I know how big the efforts need to be made, just to make me realized that I'm being cared, being loved. And still, after realizing, I'd still let them down for ignoring their existence.
Just keep them coming to me, the feelings I mean. I'd eventually realize. After years of patience, you might get my attention. You just might get lucky.
Err... or not?

Who would've thought

These pictures were taken before they decided to take their vows. It was just about a year ago. They were just two of my (few remembered) friends I got in high school. And the three of us were just hanging out at a restaurant, checking on our daily lifes.
And last weekend, 5 December 2009, they held their wedding. I was so excited about being in their wedding, I forgot how flat my ass was, siting in my seat for 10 hours just to go to Solo and spent another 10 hours to get back to Jakarta. I couldn't help myself of stretching a smile on my face every single time I memorized something about them. I love you both! >:D<
They were my classmates in my first grade of high school. As a nerd and a transfer student (well, actually not a transfer student, but yeah... I'm an alien there :p), I don't know a lot of people. The girl was someone I hang out once a while, and the guy was someone I tease in class.
The girl told me about how her love life was, and how her family has always said no to every boyfriend she introduced. All the tears she cried every time she broke up. And how I forgot her boyfriend's name... (forgive me, Mip!) I guess, she just haven't 'met' the guy yet.
I remembered, the last time we hang out before they decide to become a couple, the guy said that marriage haven't crossed his mind yet. He was too young. He was still pursuing for his career. He haven't 'met' the girl yet.
And last weekend, they were sitting in front of me, holding on to each other, as husband and wife. I hope the look in their eyes when they saw each other that day, lasts forever.

*hughug*
*still smiling ear-to-ear*

Because I eventually have a heart, mate

There are a lot of shocking facts in my new job. Rather unpleasant for me. Some friends said I was a fool for turning down those *slickly* opportunity that laid upon me. And the rest said I was a total idiot to let those *slickly* things happen upon my eyes.
Have you ever watch a muppet show? Oh, or maybe a movie in the theater, mate? Did you experience the thrill, joy, and all the emotions occurred? For that time, you think that you were taking part of the show. But by the end, you realized you were just a spectator, you left the room and turn into a totally different person.
Please pray for me that I had the strength to do so. What happened behind that door, would be forever be locked in the room. And as I walked out of that very room, I am just the same old Bo you guys would probably know.
Oh, mates. sometimes I just prayed so hard that hell doesn't even exist, cos I would definitely go there for all the bloods in my veins are yelling sins.
Oh, mates. most of the times I just wish I could pull out my heart and my eyes when I have to enter that room.

But well, all I can do now is being in what so called multiple personalities.

I'm going crazy. I am. And they told me that a crazy person wouldn't know that they're crazy. Blah! I'll break that theories! I know I am insane! Yatta! Yatta! Yatta!

Where's my insanity, oh, there it is...

a friend: Ow, great, now everyone is getting married soon
Bo: Aren't we suppose to be happy?
a friend: Yeah, of course I'm happy for all of them
Bo: Let's not forget to mention that one of our pal is secretly going to get married soon too..
A friend: Ah yes.. And don't forget one of your ohwhatsocalledcrush recently got married too
Bo: Ah, yeah... too bad, ey? I wish I could scream at his wedding party and made a confession.. 'psst,,, did you know I had a crush on you? Ow, you don't? well, it's ok, no regrets... but look who you married to, a (*&*%$%^^&, hyahahah'
A friend: Yeah, right. She's way more beautiful than you are.
Bo: Ah, yeah... I forgot that part...

Apart from my secretweddingplan friend, I wish you all a great marriage. And when I said great marriage, it doesn't mean that you literally should have a fancy state of the art party, mates...

I recall my crush, hehe. A normal funny guy, who was so silly that can make me laugh all day. Good looking doesn't work for me. *yeah2, what's this smell? it's a smell of denial, Bo... deniaaaaaallll....*. Well, let's not deny, I am not that good looking. What would people think if I had a boyfriend who is as good looking as Brad Pitt? they'll whisper behind my back 'pasti santet... pasti!', hyahahahah...
A friend asked me recently, what kind of guy am I searching for, anyway? I replied, someone that could make me laugh and laugh at my frosted jokes. I admit, sometimes my jokes weren't everybody's consumption. I'm nasty, hehe. She said, 'that's all?'. Well, yeah... And it's god damn hard to find. As I share with my friends... all the good guys were already taken, what's left is bunch of jerks and airheads that pretend they're good. hyahahaha... *ih, Bo sadis, ih...*

ok, moving on... just realized, I haven't read any stupidsilly fiction book since I got a job here in Jakarta. All I read was undang2, pedoman2, modul2, RTRWN, makalah2... aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggghhhhhh... How can I explain to my boss that I don't exactly read? Not that I can't, but I chosed not to... ohmy... King was the one who crack my common sense of it. He roomraidered my room in Solo and said he was bored reading my novels... I am so sorry, King... I'll make it up to you. I'll visit the bookstore right away if I had a spare time.
Anyway, King... could you graduate soon? I am fed up with mum saying I should push you to do your theses ASAP.And in the meantime, don't bring your girlfriend to the house, Mum's kinda egocentric, you know... She ot jealous you spend your wholeday with your girlfriend and ignored her. See what happened to me when I returned home? 3 days spent with mum, and none with my friends... and when I pushed the time to meet my friends, she got grumpy... Analyze that.
Not reading any fiction book made me gradually lost my ability to act nuts... well, it doesn't turn me into a normal person either, but loosing insanity is not on my list. This is why I also missed my bloody ex boss in Bali. Hey, at least he said FU*K outloud, hehe.

I found my old friends in facebook recently. My Ambon era friends. How time has made all of us changed. 'Boss, when will you send me on a business trip to Ambon?'. Kinda missed Ambon, here. Diniiiii, let's go theeeeeeere... Nizar recalled me as the most tomboy girl in the class, hehe... He commented that based on my facebook pic, I have changed... err, not exactly, hehe. Looks can be deceiving, hehe. As almost all my friends say, I am a photogenic person, which mean I only look good on pictures. Not that I'm that gorgeus on photos, it's just most of the time, they mislead the person I haven't met to think I'm a person who I'm not, hehe. So, don't trust at my photos =p.

The l(e)ast beautiful girl

It won't be the first heart that you break
It won't be the last beautiful girl
The one that you wrecked won't take you back
If you were the last beautiful girl
in the world
-The last beautiful girl, Matchbox 20

I like this song nowadays... A little too late, I know.. even a decade too late, but well so be it, hehehe... Taz said that it's such a great song since the song was about a guy being broken up but still have the self ego to say he could cope and the girl was not worthed enough. Dini said she also like the song and had a cassette which was brought to her by myformerclassmatewhowasherformerboyfriend *yup, the relationship seems complicated, I know... huahahah*
Have you ever broke a heart? I have. Many times, hehe... whether I realized it or not. And for them, sometimes I felt bad. Sometimes, lhooooo...
I once wrote on my blog *I forgot which blog... as usual* that I once read a book 'diorama sepasang al banna' *yes, that book was given by a friend! would that explain to you, where did I get the book?*. There was written: 'dari semua perempuan, yang cantik, yang pintar, yang kaya, pilihlah yang baik agamanya...' *freefalling translations of the book, mate..*. Then, I closed the book. The book was so scary for me. let's have a check box shall we... cantik? huehehehe... my friends would laugh out loud... well, we'll pass this criteria *teman2 macam apa kaliaaaan? ckckcckck, jangan terlalu jujur ah...*, pintar? pppffffffffttttt... *ok, we'll pass this criteria too*, tajir? *melongok dompet... ok, tinggal selembar ungu2, atm... balancenya masih nol (kapan 80% itu turuuuun? kapaaaaaaaaaan?), mengais2 kantong, bunyinya krincing... T.T >.<* so, shall we pass this one too? yuk, mari..., and the last criteria would be... jengjeeeeeng... agama... *Ih, Bo... omongan lu beurat pisaaaan... meuni gaya, ah...* hyak... bubar grak, sodara2... terima kasih sudah membaca blog saya yang tidak jelas juntrungannya ini,,,,
I have come to a conclusion, anyway... I won't seek for a perempuan! *bletaaaaaakkk...* =p... Well, Mamak *who has just lost her baby to be... please accept my deepest condolence, Mak... ah, speechless* once said to me: Ini dia ni, bocah, alasan kenapa gw ga mo kawin ma perempuan,,, ribeeeeeet... Ok, Mamak... confirmed! *I missed Mamak... -hug2 Mamak...-*
Ehm2... anyway, I won't fall for a male *yes, human being with penis on their body...* just by those four bloody criteria I have wrote up there... I would fall for someone that could make me smile. That's enough for me...

Bosan

Merangkum perkembangan pola pikir saya. Merangkum kemampuan berbahasa saya.
Terkadang saya letih menulis. Saya bosan. Sama halnya dengan hobi membawa kamera saku itu. Mungkin saya perlu rehat. Mungkin saya perlu membuat orang lupa akan eksistensi blog saya. Supaya blog saya bisa menjadi milik saya secara pribadi lagi.

Mungkin saya perlu merasa kangen. Merasa sakaw. Merasa butuh menulis. Saya perlu menemukan tombol refresh dalam diri saya. Mengalihkan perhatian saya pada hal lain. Menemukan hobi baru.
