I went to PIM today (010309). Strolled off, accompanying Putri and Ayu. I never went to PIM before, so pardon my uptown behavior, hehe.
We ate at Kuya yakun? *or sort of, I forgot the name*. Actually, they ate and I took a sip of coffee, hehe. There I saw something that hurt me good.
There were two groups of family, having their afternoon coffe, like me and my friends were having. Seems normal. Talking and laughing like those that happens in fairy tales *or in Indonesia, you can name them 'sinetron'*.
What went totally wrong was beside their tables, sat two groups of baby sitter, not enjoying anything at all, looking exhausted, and had the full obligation to took care of the groups' children.
Argh! I hate it! Come on! First of all, babysitters are human being, for God's sake. What made you have the rights to tell them to always wear nurse uniform every single time? And to make it worse, I often saw babysitters wearing masks... What?! If you didn't believe in their health or hygienity, please consult to the doctors. Don't make judgements and treat them like they were germs, please.
When your have your coffee break at starbucks, why don't you order something for them? At least a glass of mineral water? They were the ones that took care of your kids while you were busy choosing your new gucci bags or new hugo suits. For God's sake, don't treat them like robots that doesn't have any feeling.
The most annoying thing for me is, when you decide to went to have a leisure time with your kids, please make it a quality time with them. After working 9-5, 5 days a week *that made you left the house from 5am-10pm, sometimes 6 days a week*, you really think that your kids wanted to spend another day with the babysitter, eventhough you're around them?
Mates, it's just pathetic...

Hoping that I won't be one of those parents that treated babysitters that way in the future...
